The rules, laws, ordinances etc. prevent possible events; if you adhere to the regulations the chance of potential contamination goes way down on top of following normal care.
There is no justification for not adhering to them.
As far as I am concerned this type of response (and it reads like Jim’s line of thinking) is political; were it a Democrat at any level there’d be more screaming of “off with his head”
At the end of the day no one is above the law, rules, regulations, procedures, etc.
